Bizzarrini Manta. Triple seats, central driver's position. 1968. Chevy V8.

I see your three seater and raise you a Murena. Qualité française.

NO CENTRAL DRIVER'S Position. But I see your Murena and raise you a...

That's tiny for a V8.

It's bound to be different. It's French! Technically it's not even a V8 with it's two crankshafts. Read more about this awesomeness here .

New one to me!
The Murena still looks contemporary thirty years on. Only the recessed side windows are a giveaway.

The Bagheera or that U8-version? I've been looking in France for a 1st gen 4-cylinder Bagheera (with the smaller rear-lights) lately for my next project. It's not as fast as a Murena but the more classic look appeals to me somewhat more. And the fact it's a three-seater makes it perfect for my situation.

The U8.

Well, that was a development that never reached full production I suppose so I'm not surprised. Though it's an epic story. Technically it isn't even a real V8 with it's two crankshafts, 'just' two simca 1300+cc engines merged together.
